June 14, 2023 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved son of the late John P. and Angeline (nee Fasano) Lynch; loving brother of Geri (Joe) Graff, Catherine (David) Giannelli, Thomas (Diane) Lynch and Maureen Smith; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. No prior visitation. Services were held privately by the family. Arrangements by the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME.

John was my true love from the age of 16 to 26. He took me to my high school prom. We spent many happy years together. He was a football player, and I cheered him on. It's a shame we never married or had any children. His memory will forever be in my heart.

John and I have been friends for years. Played ball in so many leagues together, including raising over ,fifty thousand dollars as a member of WGR High Five Basketball team. John visited me in Florida a bunch of times. John was a guy you wanted in your corner to have your back. John shocked me picking up the mic and sang a soul felt slow song at Karaoke with that deep voice! Rest in Peace, saving a spot for all your family,friends and teamsters! -surfer
