Jack - from the first day I met you, you made me feel like I was a part of the O'Neill family. I have the fondest memories of sitting in the condo answering questions and "throwing a lip" over a drink with you. I consider myself very lucky to have known you.

Dear Ann and Family:
I am so sorry to hear your sad news. Hanging out at the O'Neill's was always a lot of fun. How did you put up with us giddy girls and the "slumber" parties? I have a very special memory of Mr. O'Neill...I had passed my driver's test and had my license....but nothing to drive! One evening, Mr. O'Neill handed me the keys to his car and told us girls to go have a good time. The condition was that we had to pick Jack Jr. up when he got out of work. I can't tell you how good that made me feel. He trusted me with his vehicle and the lives of my best friends. That couple of hours of buggin' State Street with my good buddies is a memory I have shared with my own children when I tried to impress on them the importance of gaining the trust of others. I think of all of you often and want to offer my condolences.

Sincerely,

Debbie Shea

Jack and Ann, I am so sorry about the loss of your Dad. I lost my Dad a year ago so I know how hard it is to lose a parent. From all I've heard, he was a great, great man. He is in good hands and I hope you can find comfort in that. You and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Jack and the O'Neill Family:
I'm so sorry to hear that your Father has passed away and my wife Brenda and & I want to convey to you our deepest sympathies.
I have personally known Jack for over 14 years and know how much he loved his Father and wish I knew what to say or do at this time to help.
An old Irish saying, "My God hold him in the Palm of His Hand" seems appropriate here.
Best Regards,
Bud & Brenda Holewinski

Dear Edna and the entire O'Neill and Donavan Families....You and Jack will always be the best In-laws a bum like me could have ever wished. Our days together were short but always cherrished. I have nothing but the fondest of memories of you and Jack and the entire clan. Between tears I gave the kids orders to pass out a lot of good bear hugs to all and a wedgie to John. I thank you for introducing me to Our Lady of Mount Carmel and I know that Father Joe has Jack very busy for now and I hope this lightens the load. Thank you again, jr

Dear Edna and the entire O'Neill family

My thoughts and prays are with you all during this difficult time.
Jack has always been a special a person in my heart. My girls and I will always remember the great times at the cottage. I'm sure Jack will be taking to God about his beautiful family. If a persons greatness is measured by how much he was loved then "Jack" was one of the greatest persons on earth.

Sincerely, Jim Fried

Edna and family; Jack was a dear friend and we'll always remember the good times we had while working together and
afterward. There aren't many men we know that have all the attributes he had. He was the true definition of a good man. We'll miss you old friend.
