Beloved husband of the late Nancy E. (nee Deinert) Philipps. Devoted father of John (Angela) Philipps, Jr., Michele (Eric Sandler) the late Edward Eisenlord Jr., Peggy (Glenn) Mayer, Nicole (Jason) Burger. Loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Loving brother of the late Marie (late Jerome) Phillips, Audrey (late Joseph) Melber and Ferdinand E. "Ferd" (late Mary) Philipps. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John was the Vice President and Co-Owner of Philipps Brothers Supply and worked with his family for many years. Relatives and friends may visit The Dietrich Funeral Home Inc., 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst, NY 14226 on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 3-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Pius X RC Church, 1700 N French Rd., Getzville, NY 14068 on Saturday, August 31 at 10am. Please assemble at church. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in John's memory to Hospice of Niagara County. Online condolences may be placed at www.TheDietrichFuneralHome.com.
