John Rohe Obituary
09/05/1956 - 10/09/2023
John Edward Rohe, 67, of Cheektowaga, NY, passed away on October 9th, 2023. John was born to Robert and Margaret Rohe in Williamsville, NY. John worked for Reichert Technologies for over 30 years. He was a proud member of the Glass Workers Union and served as both secretary and president. John is survived by his daughters Melissa Krajewski (Michael), Gretchen Rohe, and Heather Manuse (Joseph). John leaves behind three beloved grandchildren, Benjamin Manuse, Bridget Krajewski, and Emily Manuse. He is also survived by his sister, Susan Flanders (John). John cherished the time that he got to spend in his last years with his companion, Jane Holland. John also leaves behind many dear friends and family. In lieu of flowers please send remembrances to the SPCA in John's name. He considered his pets to be his family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

John and I spent what would be his last Christmas on the phone remembering all the Christmases we had together as kids. He was my baby brother and was so excited by the holidays.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to John´s family. Being with John was always a pleasure. I enjoyed conversing with him and related to his sense of humor. I know he will be sadly missed.
John and I had common interests even if it was talking about our aches and pains. John´s would tell it like it is but always with a sense of acceptance and lighthearted humor. I could always see that inner smile. It came across loud and clear. I respected that.
What I´ll always remember most is how, in his way, he would convey his concerns for his family. I want all of them to know that he always made it clear to me how much he loved and cared for you. He told me how much he appreciated the time and things that you all did for him.
This last bit of time with him may have been difficult but those thoughts will fade. Replace them with all the good memories you share. As for me, I will always remember that smile.
