SIMSON - John G., Sr. "Jack" Of South Buffalo, January 25, 2017, beloved husband of the late Josephine (Coppola); dear father of John (Catherine), Michael (Karen) and William (Ellen) Simson; loving grandfather of nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; dear brother of Margaret Mary (Vincent) Fildes, Barbara (late Robert) Scanlon, Arline (Edward) Jones and the late Mary Jane (Paul) Schneggenburger, Friends received on Friday from 2-7 PM at the NIGHTENGALE FUNERAL HOME, 1884 South Park Ave. (near Tifft), Please assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Charity Parish (St. Ambrose Worship Site) at 9:30 AM. Mr. Simson was a longtime trustee and Holy Name member at St. Agatha's Church. He was also a member of the Msgr. Nash Council #3875 Knights of Columbus. After serving in the US Navy during the Korean War Jack worked for 43 years at Pierce-Stevens Corp. Interment Mount Calvary Cemetery.
