Joseph BITTAR Obituary
Of Williamsville, entered into rest on April 27, 2021. Beloved husband of Theresa (nee Attea) Bittar for 66 years; devoted father of Jo Ann (Robert) Salci, Mary Jo Bittar, Laura (Joseph) Boffa, Paul (Elizabeth) Bittar and David (Patricia) Bittar; cherished grandfather of Kyle (April), Lauren (Gavin) Salci, Caroline, Mark, Julia, Madeline, Thomas, Coleman and Elliot; dear brother of Theckla (late Joseph) Mullen, Ann (Thomas) Christman, the late George (Carolyn) Bittar and the late Madeline (late Anthony) Abdella; also survived by loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Joseph was a proud US Army Veteran serving in both WWII and the Korean War. Relatives and friends may visit St. John Maron Church, 2040 Wehrle Dr., Williamsville on Friday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock (Please assemble at Church). Interment Western New York National Cemetery. Joseph was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society and St. John Maron Church for many years. He was also an NFTA bus driver for 40 years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joseph's memory to St. John Maron Church Building Fund or Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements by LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel). I got to know Joe when he went to Christ the King Church on Monday mornings. He was a loving and kind gentleman who clearly loved his faith, loved Jesus and loved others. He will be missed by everyone who attends CTK for Mass on Mondays. May he rest in eternal peace and may you, his family, find peace knowing he touched so many lives in a positive way.
