Of West Seneca, entered into rest December 3, 2023. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (nee Hallis) Dragonette; devoted father of Karen (Ron) Kaun, Nicholas (Maria) Dragonette, Rose Marie (Robert) Wilamowski, James (Sandra) Dragonette, Joseph (Emily) Dragonette, Margaret (Joseph) DiGiacomo and step-father of Joseph (Elizabeth) D'Amico, Donna D'Amico, and Lisa (John) Staniszewski; cherished grandfather of 27; adored great-grandfather of 18; loving son of the late James and Rosalie Dragonette; dear brother of the late Anthony Dragonette; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave., on Thursday from 3-7 PM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 900 Maryvale Dr., Cheektowaga on Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Please assemble at Church. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery. My condolences to the Dragonette family. Joe and I go back to 1952 when we both lived on West Avenue and took the West Utica bus to Canisius High School. We spent many days playing football and baseball at Front Park. I have many fond memories of Joe as he was always getting into trouble and made me laugh so hard. I saw his brother Antonio at St. Louis's church when he worked there. He was one of my good friends from many years ago and I am sure the saints in heaven are having a good laugh with him. Rest in Peace, I have fond memories of you Joe

We were scanning articles of the Buffalo News, and happen to come across the obituary regarding the passing of your father. It is a difficult loss to go through at any time, and can be especially hard and heartbreaking around the holiday season. Joe always made me smile and laugh he was the life of the party when every we had a together @ my uncle toms and aunt paula´s house I´m going to miss him dearly but I know now that hes not in pain anymore or stuffing hes up there now dancing with grandma and grandpa Radel joe please tell them hi for me and tell them I miss them dearly I love you all very much rest easy my friend until we meet again I love you love your cousin Lenny Grosso
