Beloved husband of Susan (nee Partell) Kersten. Loving father of Joseph Kersten and John "Jack" Kersten. Loving brother of Lawrence, Gerard (Diane), Mark, Mary Probst, and the late Carol Carlson. Loving brother-in-law of John Carlson. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Dearest companion of Buster. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 3-7 pm at The Dietrich Funeral Home, Inc., 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst, NY 14226. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 9:30 am at Christ The King Church, 30 Lamarck Dr., Amherst, NY 14226. Please assemble at church. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital. Online condolences may be placed at www.TheDietrichFuneralHome.com.
