Of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of Cheryl (nee Dashner). Loving father of Erica Mages, Aprile (Kevin) Brooks, Zachary (Matthew Bailen) Simons, Mitchell (Andrea) Simons and Connor (Alexis) Mages. Cherished grandfather of Tyler Mages, Izabella and Vivianne Brooks and Renan and Wesley Simons. Dear brother of Josette (late Frank) Levy, Cindy (Roger) Arne, Scott Mages and was predeceased by his brothers-in-law Ronny and Tony Dashner. Also survived by nieces and nephews. The family will be present on Thursday from 2-7 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 5090 Transit Rd., Depew, NY where a Celebration of Life will follow at 7PM. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, contributions ma be made to the Erie Co. SPCA. Joseph worked for over 25 years at Kaminski Trucking in Buffalo. Online condolences may be shared at www.newcomerbuffalo.com

Cheryl and family. I am shocked totally. My deepest condolences. You guys have been neighbors for years. I am lost for words. I pray the Lord holds him firmly in his hands as his spirit enters into Heaven.
