Joseph Maloney Obituary
- December 23, 2023
Entered into eternal peace after a brief illness, age 56 of Lancaster, NY. Devoted father of Ryan Patrick Maloney and Emily Ann Maloney; dear brother of James (Karen) Maloney and the late Rosemary (late David) Maloney-Hoffman; beloved son of the late James E. and late Anna E. (nee Kudrna) Maloney; also survived by the mother of his children, Tabitha (nee Dowgiallo) Maloney. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 4-8PM at Lakeside Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 1340 Union Road, West Seneca NY 14224, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 9:30AM at St. Lawrence Church, 1520 East Delevan Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215. Please assemble at church. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Joseph was a retired automobile salesman at Keller Chevrolet. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in Joseph's memory to SPCA Serving Erie County.

A lot of people called you Ponytail Joe, but I remember you more for your smile and air of confidence. Always seemed like you were ready to leap tall buildings in a single bound. Actually my brother, you were always ready to help if you could and try and be a friend to many. So sorry we couldn´t have more time together. Hoping you get to drive your Corvette in heaven and hang with all the angels. Miss you and know your spending time with our loved one´s. Love you brother

I remember when you started at DeLacy Ford like it was yesterday, my friend. I took you under my wing and you blossomed and excelled in Sales. The memories we shared will always be special to me. I love you, Brother and pray you will finally get the rest and time with Jesus you so richly deserve! Fly high, Joey!
