MURPHY - Joseph Raymond Of Amherst, entered into rest February 13, 2019, at age 40. Devoted father of Finnegan and Ella; loving son of James and Karen (nee Callahan) Murphy; beloved companion of Maryalice Demler, the love of his life; dear brother of Kathleen (John) Pallotta; cherished uncle of Liam and Luca; also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Snyder Chapel), 4614 Main St., near Harlem Rd., Snyder, on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's University Church, 3269 Main St., Buffalo, on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Please assemble at church. Joe was a proud graduate of St. Bonaventure University, an All-American swimmer, and a member of the Atlantic Ten 1999 Championship Swim Team. After nearly two decades in banking, most recently at Key Bank, Joe was recently named Chief Financial Officer for BAM Industries, Grand Island.
