Joe was an enthusiastic member of the Alliance Francaise. His love and command of foreign languages amazed us all. But he will be missed most of all for being the warm person that he was.

Bev, My heart goes out to you and your daughters. Joe was always so pleasant with me when you 2 were visiting your mother Blanche. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

My friends, Beverly and Joe, were never seen without one another or else would be on their cell phones with one another...a spiritual union that will never be broken. Looking forward to celebrating Joe's life at Brennan's...in true spirit of a lovely devoted man, whose smile would light up the room.

Your husband and father's write up caught my eye. After reading I thought, what a very interesting and decent man. Being a fellow Irishman, what a great way to celebrate his life!

So very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was a special person with great sensitivity, a sense of awe for the beauty in life. We shared many wonderful times but I always knew that you, Bev, were the love of his life. I hope the magic that was Joe will live on through your girls and the joy that he brought to you all will comfort you doing these tough times.

So sad to hear the news. I loved being Joseph's nurse and be able to speak French with him. My love to your family. I'll be there Sunday.

My sincerest condolences and prayers are with you. From 2001-2011 I worked in Migrant Farmworker Ministry for the Dioceses of Buffalo and Rochester. Joe was always there as a knowledgeable fiend, co-worker, and advocate for migrant farmworkers. I was blessed to know him.
