Joseph Paa Obituary

PAA - Rev. Joseph F. October 29, 2008, age 93; Pastor Emeritus of St. Martins Church Langford, NY and St. Marys Church East Eden. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Margaret (nee Voit) Paa; brother of Rev. Donald R. Paa of Independence, MO., Jean M. Paa and the late Rev. Msgr. Raymond F. Paa; also survived by several cousins. The family will be present to receive friends Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the (Harris Hill Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME INC. 8440 Main St., Clarence. Fr. Paa will lie in state Saturday from 9-10 AM at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church 8500 Main St. Clarence, where a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM. Most Rev. Edward U. Kmiec, DD Bishop of Buffalo, will be principal celebrant. Friends invited. Online register at www.AMIGONE.com.

Jean,
I am so sad to hear of your loss. I gusse that Joe is Up stairs with Raymond ana having a good laught with my father Herb Kahabka. You know they are enjoying their favorit drink that come in a brown bottle.

Father Paa was my parish priest (St Martins-Langford). I loved going to mass. He made it all seem so special and spiritual. He was a wonderful role model. He will be missed, but will be remembered.
