Jimmy - I met your father when I was a kid on my first job while I spent most of my lunch hours at J&M's. He laughed that I always ordered my sausage sub or big john with a mayo roll. "It needed a chaser", I told him. He always had something to add that made me laugh. I remember taking bets about whether your wife would deliver your first child at the restaurant and then watched your daughter play on the sidelines while her mom and dad made our food. I know how hard you both worked to keep the business in the family. It's still appreciated by us and all who grew up in the neighborhood. It's been a couple years since my father passed so I've missed coming back there. I always came right from the airport for my "fix". Heartfelt condolences to you and your family.

We were vert sorry to hear of Joseph Scott's passing. we went
to cleveland hill high school and have been going to John and

Dear Jim and Family,
I don't know if you remember me. John and Mary's was a fond memory from my teen years and beyond, and your Dad was a huge part of it. He was so tolerant of us kids, and for years after, always make me feel welcome. To this day, as soon as I get off the plane from Florida, I run to John & Mary's for a sub.You have continued his tradition. My thoughts are with you all.
