ZINGARO - Joseph S., PhD
June 2, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Lita Zingaro (Rappoport); loving father of Jan Zingaro-Dascoli, Douglas (Randa) Zingaro, Renee (John) Kennelly, and the late Ellen Zingaro; son of the late Louis and Sadie Zingaro; brother of the late Anthony, Angelo, Ralph and Concetta Zingaro, Mildred (Tony) Cipriano and Connie Wilsey; brother in law of Patricia Zingaro; devoted grandfather of John, Michael (Rachel), Joseph (Lauren), Kaylee, Evan (Nia), Alexander and Gabrielle; also survived by four great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Wednesday 9-10 AM at MESNEKOFF FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd., E. Amherst, NY 14051 with a mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church (Chapel), Swormville, NY. Interment will follow at Elmlawn Cemetery. Joseph was the former chairman of the chemistry department at Buffalo State College. Donations may be made to Buffalo State University or WNY Alzheimer's Association.
