Of Elma, entered into rest on August 6, 2022. Beloved wife of Louis M. Gandy; devoted mother of Michael Gandy (Kimberly Best), Kimberly MacDonald and David (Courtney) Gandy; cherished grandmother of Matthew, Kathryn, Emma, Sydney, Henry, Charlie and Harper; loving daughter of the late Anna and late Joseph LaVango; dear sister of Charles (Johann Carlo), and the late baby Philip Didio, Philip Didio and Joan Wild; dear sister-in-law of Gail Didio; adored godmother of Michele Didio (Jennifer Windsor); also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Tuesday from 3-7 PM. Where Funeral Services and Prayers will be held at Holy Sepulchre Chapel, 3063 Harlem Rd., Cheektowaga, on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock (Please assemble at Cemetery). Kim, I'm so very sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Your mom was always so sweet and always welcoming when I came over to hang out with you. When I saw her at a luncheon at The Villages we had a nice talk, she was exactly the same as she was when we were kids. I pray that you can take solace in the wonderful memories you have of your mom as you grieve her loss.
