Petty Officer Mangano, Ill never forget that you were the first one to greet my fresh young face when I checked into Quantico. You were a dear friend and mentor to me when I was considering going to BUD/S, you helped me become a great Corpsman and Sailor. I wish I couldve given you as much as you gave me. Also, thank you for turning me into the boondocks saints. I love and miss you every day. Fair winds brother and Ill see you in Valhalla.

Justino.........my main cuz! You were the little bro I never had. I can remember every minute of every conversation we had talking about our Italian heritage, food, sports, hottest girls(at the time), family, the BlackKnight fraternity, and most importantly LIFE. There's no doubt about it, you were a special kind of kid who was loved and loved. On behalf of the Borrello's by the Bay we loved you with all that we had my little brother! We also know and have the hope in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior that He too is going to guide and protect your Mom, Dad, and Ryan until we all meet again in glory. So go rest on that highest mountain for your work on earth is done. Love ya cuz!
Your forever Bay Brother Shawnie B.
P.S. I hope the gardens are better up there than the one's on Brooks Ave!!:)

Justin, my dearest friend. Words alone can not describe how badly you are missed. You were a Warrior, a man of the highest caliber, and the best friend a man could ever have. You were undeniably one of the finest Corpsman to walk the battlefield. I am truly a better man, father, and husband for having been lucky enough to be your friend. The times we spent together will forever be remembered – “protected”. Say hello to our fallen brothers, look after our Marines, and provide aid to those guarding the gates of heaven. I’ve got it down here buddy. Semper Fi brother! Semper Fi!

Dear Family and Friends of Justin,
It is with great sadness that Tom and I send this message to you. We learned of Justin's death from Kenny Wasmund, and we both wanted to immediately reach out and hug all of you and to let you know how much we care. Although time and distance has kept us from keeping in touch with you over the years, we have wonderful memories of growing up together. As you face this trying time, we hope as life goes on, that you will find ways to celebrate the memory of your beloved Justin. May your memories give you comfort, and may time speed your healing....Sometimes there are no words that can reveal the feelings of the heart, but please accept our deepest thoughts and prayers at this time..

We are so sorry to learn of Justin's death. As a Navy Corpsman with the Marine Corps he saved lives and made an incredible difference in this world. Then becoming a State Trooper to further serve the public and make a difference. He was a hero and one of America's best.
We send our prayers to the entire family and to Tina. We know that Justin is now at peace,
God Bless you all
