Age 70, of North Tonawanda, died unexpectedly. Daughter of the late Elmer and Clara Astalos. Beloved Wife of the late Alan J. Folmsbee. Dear mother of Julie (Neil) Jaeger and Brian Folmsbee. Grandmother of Isabella Folmsbee and Elizabeth "Libby" Jaeger. Loving sister of Pamela (Craig) Canton and David (Sheryl) Astalos. Sister-in-law of David (Sue) Folmsbee and the late Jeffrey Folmsbee. Aunt of Michael (Amy) Moeller and Aunt and Godmother of Jason (Melissa) Moeller. Kathy worked for North Tonawanda City School District for 30 years. She adored being a wife to Alan for almost 50 years. Kathy loved to cook for people. She enjoyed traveling, drinking wine, and watching the Buffalo Bills. She put a lot of thought and love into the gifts she gave, and the parties she planned and hosted. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Friday, January 17th from 4:00-7:00 PM. A Memorial service will be held at the funeral home beginning at 7:00 PM. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
