Mr. Pembroke was a great man. I especially remember his yearly invitaion to lunch at Pembroke Meadows. He would invite my daughter-in-law,Janet, and my grand-daughters, Jenni and Laura and me, to come and enjoy a wonderful lunch every year at Christmas. It became a wonderful Christmas tradition that we all looked forward to. I'll always remember him for that wonderful memory. My love to all the family.

You are in our thoughts and prayers especially at this time. So many memories from growing up come to mind...the huge Christmas tree, Holly (we thought she really was Lassie, though), the pool frog spitting water, trying to ride a cow, 'the girls' weddings, 4-H animals/awards, my first job giving farm tours, working in the restaurant, Uncle Kenneth's nickname for me "Cindy Lou" (even though my middle name is Lynn), sheep shearing, adorable lambs, the apartments, he was the baby of the family (like me), the ever-present smile and humorous comments...we are all better for having him in our lives. Love always, Dave and Cyndi Connor (maiden name=Ramming - daughter of Gerrie - granddaughter of Olive)
