Kevin Fletcher Obituary
- March 18, 2024
After a lifelong and courageous struggle with kidney disease. Loving son of Michael E. and Rosemary(nee Schuessler) Fletcher.Dear brother of Brian M. Fletcher and Colleen (Sanjay Krishnaswamy) Fletcher.Uncle of Keegan and Bodhi. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Homes, Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. Friday from 4-7 PM. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church (Main and Edwards St.) Saturday at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers donations in Kevin's memory may be made to S.P.C.A. of Erie County. Kevin was a veteran of the US Army, obtained an Associates Degree at ECC and former employee of West Herr Ford. Kevin shared the love of automobiles with his dad. Please share condolences at www.mertzfh.com.

So so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing only today. We were good buddies in early High School. Was a super guy! Sympathy to the whole Fletcher family.

Fletcher! I am just finding out today, Veteran´s Day, after I tried calling you thank you for your service. I thought it was strange I didn´t hear from you on my birthday or the 4th. I will miss your holiday texts and laugh. A true diamond in the rough, what began as a friendship at the bar turned into one of the most solid, honest, and trustworthy friendships I´ve had. I will miss you dearly and treasure all the memories we made together. Thank you for the years of smiles and love. I´m thankful that I can scroll up and just see text after text of "I miss you" and "I love you". Wish I had known sooner, but that´s how our friendship was I guess - just between the two of us, offline and chilling and just enjoying each other´s company. Until we meet again, may heaven be as kind to you as you were a golden light in this world. I will miss you.
