Age 78. Beloved husband of 57 years to Susan M. (nee Moore) Blackman; loving father of Christopher (Karen Anne) Blackman and Frauke (Joe) Stoffel; exchange daughters, Katja (Thomas) Franzen and Julia (Ed) Gross; cherished grandfather of Andrew (Samantha), Lucas Stoffel, Ross, Lars Blackman and Joey Stoffel; and exchange grandchildren, Annika and Laura Franzen; great-grandchildren Mary and Joey Stoffel; caring brother of Gregory Blackman, Carol (Rudolf) David-Blackman, Bruce (late Sarah) Blackman, Judith (Ronald) Scoble and Diane (Timothy) Clark; also survived by nieces and nephews. Arrangements by the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
