Lois AIKEN Obituary

AIKEN - Lois E. (nee Ellman) Age 90, of North Tonawanda, May 19, 2016, in Buffalo General Hospital. Lois was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and was a member of the church choir for many years and had been a volunteer at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Herbert Lyle Aiken, who died in 1988. Beloved mother of Cheryl (late Thomas) Gibson of Middleport and Michael (Joyce) Aiken of Wheatfield; grandmother of Scott (Michelle) Gerdes, Lisa (Paul) Lane and Katie Gerdes; great-grandmother of Evan Gerdes, Sofia Gerdes, Jackson Lane and Nora Lane; sister of the late Delbert and Eldred Ellman; aunt of several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Sunday from 4-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM from St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1135 Oliver St., North Tonawanda. Rev. Keith Knupp will officiate. Interment in St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church. Guest register available at frettholdfuneralhome.com.
