Of Lancaster, Beloved son of the late Louis A., Sr, and Ceilia (Wandowski) DiRienzo; dear brother of the late Gary Dirienzo; also survived by cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 158 Laverack Ave., Lancaster, Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 10 a.m. Sonny was a member of the Lancaster Elks Lodge 1478, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2692, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1605, the Irish Hill Hunting Club of Bath, NY, and a Wanderer of the Caribbean Seas. A dear friend, mentor and loyal neighbor. A man that would stand up to injustice and speak the truth.
