Louis FRICANO Obituary
February 23, 2022 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of 59 years to Nina (nee Maile); loving father of Joseph (Lisa), Maria and Nicholas (Karl) Fricano; cherished Papa of Jacob, Sarah, Garrett and the late Matthew; devoted brother of Barbara Palmer; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lou was a proud US Navy veteran, past coach of Airlanes Football, enjoyed bowling and was an avid NASCAR Fan. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Monday from 4-8 PM at the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME, 2510 Union Rd., Cheektowaga (two blocks south of William St.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 9 AM in St Gabriel's R.C. Church, 5271 Clinton St., Elma. Please assemble at church. Please leave condolences online at www.SmolarekCares.com

To the FRICANO FAMILY. I just lost a very special FRIEND who would do any thing for who ever asked HIM. We worked at Lancaster Speedway for many years as Starters on the track & he as loved by all the fans there. When i moved south we always kept in touch with each other. LOU loved his family & would always tell the stories of what & how they were doing. He wa a great Friend to a lot of People & will be missed by a lot also. REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND NTILL WE MEET AGAIN, GOD BLESS.
