I was blessed almost 30 years ago to move in next door to Lemoyne.
We started as neighbors and grew into family. There are a small number of people who have been instrumental in rearing Victoria into the fine young adult she is today. Lemoyne was ONE.
As G´ma she was irreplaceable. She would take Victoria for an hour here or there to "give mom a break". Or she would be happily available last minute if I had to run an errand.
We watched Victoria get on the bus the first day of kindergarten...and by 2nd grade Victoria would be at G´ma´s daily waiting for the school bus. They enjoyed their morning ritual well into middle school. Breakfast started as cereal, then muffins and then omelets! Lemoyne always rethought that choice once Victoria started making requests.
G´ma´s door was always open for Victoria to show her off to her friends if there was a sleep-over. And G´ma was her refuge as Victoria grew into her teen years and wanted space from me. And then driving, and college...
Lemoyne was a confidant and would share advice. Her organizational skills were unmatched. Her cooking was also incredible. Just having conversations were enjoyable. A shared glass of wine at the end of a long day was treasured. I even got her to go to a few new off-the-beaten-path places; she didn´t love them all, but she was willing to go.
She could be blunt and direct without malice. And when she was direct, it was wise to listen.
She was generous whether it was time or gifts. She joked always about the prom dress but loved being part of that milestone.
We are heartbroken Lemoyne will not physically be with us for college graduation and all the other wonderful life milestones. We are thankful to have had her for the years we did. Williamsville was the most beautiful snowy village the morning she passed, and I am confident her presence will always be with us. With Love, Mary

Rich and family, I am very sad to hear this news. I didn't know her well, but your mom was so gracious, funny and helpful in the times she and I spoke. My condolences to you. My prayers are with your family.

Dear Richard & Kristen,
I was deeply saddened today, when I found out that your Mother had passed away. I will always treasure the happy memories I had with your family. Her life was her family, which she deeply loved so much. May you find comfort knowing that love that she had for you and your children.

To Kristen and Family, Dave and I send thoughts of comfort and peace. We remember your mom with fondness and grateful hearts. When our daughter Carrie died, your mom made beautiful potpourri from the flowers at her funeral. It was such a thoughtful gesture and we´ll never forget her.
We´re truly sorry for your loss. Joan Fridmann

Dearest Richie and Kristen,
I am so, so sorry to hear about your Mom. I knew how sick she was and she bravely fought and kept her incredible sense of humor. So many memories, especially of long ago Christmas´s. I´m sure "Evie" was at the door to greet her.
I can´t be there in person, having moved south recently but you have my heart. I loved your Mom, like many others. God bless you all.
Marge (Wutz) Lampka.
