Marc C. SIMON

SIMON - Marc C. Age 50, died, April 16, 2010 at home in Saint Victor la Coste, France, after losing his battle to cancer. Son of Jacqueline C. Simon and the late John K. Simon, of Amherst, and brother of Julie Simon, of St. Louis, Missouri. Lovingly cared for by his best friends, Simone and Henri Gignoux. Graduated from Amherst Central Senior High School in 1976 and Princeton University, cum laude, in 1980. He moved to Saint Victor la Coste in 1981, joining the management team of a nonprofit volunteer work effort, La Sabranenque. In 1998, he co-founded a web site development company, Neteor, for which he worked relentlessly until his death. Marc was beloved by friends not only in the U.S., but in France and around the world. He will be dearly missed. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Melanoma Research. Remembrance date not yet set.
