Read MoreI was talking to a passenger about La Sabranenque just the other day. I was there in 1997 and had a great time. The program was awesome and I kept telling people about it. I was wondering why Marc's name wasn't on the La Sabranenque website and did a search... I'm so sorry for finding out so late and my deepest regards to the family.

I was in La Sabranenque twice many years ago and was very sad to hear this news. Marc made us all so comfortable and his enthusiasm for the place and the work was truly contagious. I jokingly told him once when we met here in New York, after my first visit, that I would love to come back but wanted to work in the kitchen, and he made that happen. He was a rare individual!
