Marcella BUELL Obituary
April 26, 2021, of Grand Island. Wife of the late George A. Buell; loving mother of Patrick S. (Teresa) Buell, Michael V. Buell, Barbara A. (the late Mark) Brown and Katie Buell; grandmother of Talis, April, Kevin and Madison; also survived three great-grandchildren and her cat Sammy; sister of Ronald, Robert, Joseph and the late Daniel McNamee Jr.; daughter of the late Dan and Maxine (Proulx) McNamee. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the KAISER FUNERAL HOME, 1950 Whitehaven Rd., Grand Island. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 AM at St. Stephen's Church (go to St. Stephen's web site to watch funeral Mass live). Flowers welcome. Mrs. Buell was a former Niagara Water Ski Queen, a retired longtime Grand Island school bus driver, a reader at St. Stephen's Church and cooked for the Priests at the St. Stephen's Rectory. She was a longtime Grand Island Moose member and enjoyed cooking, baking, family, traveling, her pets, zip lining and loved to crochet. She enjoyed visiting the Grand Island Golden Age Center with her friends, and the Lunch Bunch. She was a homemaker, former life guard and worked in the Fantasy Island Beer tent and also in uniform control. She was an avid picture taker. Please share condolences at kaiserfuneral.com.

Marcie and our family go way back and thru Pat & Teresa's recent visit to NY, the memories began. Marcie was our babysitter for some time; she was funny & nurturing, always trying to teach us games. Her dad built our home & sold to my parents back in the '40's. All the McNamee's were like a second family to us. Listening to Mike and Pat at her beautiful service had to make anyone who didn't know her, respect her devotion to her family and her church. You did it well, Marcie..now time to enjoy your new home.
