I met Marci in 1992 at Buffalo General. I was a young inexperienced nurse, and Marci was instrumental in getting me my first nursing job. I had not much to offer in terms of skill, only my joyful exuberance about being a new nurse. Marci and I bonded right away. She said, "Linda. There´s something special about you. I can see it. We are going to get you a job here!" And sure enough, she did. Here we are , 30 years later, and I´m still grateful to her for helping me. She was an Angel in my life. So thankful to have met her. God Bless her, and condolences to her family.

Mrs. B was one of the nicest, most genuine, easygoing, and certainly toughest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She touched everyone who ever met her in different ways, but one thing is certain- we have all been made better for having known her. Rest in peace, Mrs. B. You will be greatly missed.

Aunt Marci was such a strong, loving, and gracious woman, and words cannot explain how lucky I feel to have had her in my life. I will always remember the notes she sent me, her advice and all of her love and support she gave me. She was the aunt that I never had and she will always hold a special spot in my life. She will be missed dearly but I know that she is still here in Kevin and Elizabeth, Mr. Balbuzowski, her family, nieces and nephews and all of the wonderful memories we all have with her.

I am one of Marci's life long friends- one of the threesome- Marci, Mary and myself. We grew up to be different people , but remain connected to each other as close friends.
I have known Marci all my life. There are many memories we shared- sleepovers, swimming in backyard pools, the latest new car on the street, playing games-Barbie, Monopoly and Sorry, snowball fights, and school. Our friendship sustained the miles, different careers, our own adult family and friends and time. As good friends are-- we could pick up right where we left off- and just continue. Our friendship was our secret treasure. We talked about it often and how it was our most valuable gift to each other. I am saddened that she is gone, but take heart and reassurance that our memories will last and in knowing she is at peace. I will miss her.

To the Balbuzowski Family,
Your wife and mother was a wonderful and brave woman who loved you more than anything. I had the honor of knowing her at Buffalo General and I always admired her for her courage and cheerfulness. She often told me about how much support she got from her family and children and how much they loved her and helped her in so many ways.
She will be missed by many people.

I was very saddened today to hear of Marci's passing. While it has been a long time since I last saw Marci, I have always appreciated her friendship and affection for her nieces, my daughters, Alyssa and Lindsay.
