Marcus was so funny, very witty, really handsome and an exceptionally great father. He was a real/no nonsense kind of person and just an all in all great friend. Just hearing his voice and laughter could always make my day better. His big bright infectious smile will always be cherished and remembered. Marcus you will forever live in my heart. Rest in eternal peace. You were so loved.

I had the pleasure of observing the results of Marcus' work and infectious personality daily. He had high standards of performance, incredible self-respect and dignity, and was a passionate advocate for his fellow Veterans. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed at the VA Medical Center.
