Dear Jahn Family,
I was so sad to receive the call from Liz of Mrs. Jahn's untimely death. She was truly a wonderful person who touched so many people. My brother Michael was one of the lucky students of Mrs. Jahn. In talking with him recently he mentioned that whenever he saw Mrs Jahn she would ask how he was doing with his hooked rug project. She had the gift of connecting with people and making them feel very comfortable.
With deep sympathy,
Andrea Norberg

Dear Elmer & Family - What a shock to hear of Marilyn's death, we had a luncheon date in Aug. Always met when I visited Bflo. We were close as children with our Family picnics - Bob, Marilyn, Paul & I. When our children were young Aunt Hilda took the oldest to visit with Santa. Family times togeter at Aunt Gert's cottage - we stayed with Anna & Art. Fun times on the beach with Uncle Art's bonfires.
Marilyn will be missed by all. Our thoughts & Prayers are with you.
Love Joanne, Leone, Craig & Blair

Dear"Uncle" Elmer, Maggie, Liz, Kirstie, and Mike,

Thinking today of all our times at "the Lake", everyone from Card Club, and the wonderful memories of the life-long friendships that serve as a tribute to "Aunt" Marilyn and her warm, welcoming spirit. She was a great and loyal friend to my Mom, especially after my Dad passed away. I am with you all in thought today. Take Care.

Dear Uncle Elmer, Liz, Maggie, Kristen, Mike and family members,

I was so sorry to hear about the death of Aunt Marilyn. The impact of losing such a remarkable women has to be profound. She appeared to be the family rock, remaining present to the unfolding of life, accepting and often times challenging that which was placed at her doorstep with much gusto, with the innate flair of an artist.

My prayers are with you, your families and everyone, whose life was blessed by her presence.

Love, Bev

Uncle Elmer, Maggie, Liz, Kirstin, Mike and family,
Whenever I think of Aunt Marilyn I smile. I will remember her kind, loving, laughing soul. I loved her from the beginning when Uncle Elmer was showing all of us in our backyard how he could do a handstand and kicked her smack in the nose and broke it. And this was a few weeks before they got married and she still married him. I am grateful to have known her, wish I knew her better. I will miss her.
Sincerely and with love,
Barbara (Jahn) Gold

Dear Jahn family,
My husband and I were privileged to become acquainted with your parents as we purchased their property next door this fall. Although our contacts were brief, we could tell that your mother was someone we would enjoy getting to know better this summer as we spent time at our new cottage. As we have been working this winter, we have been anticipating their return and so that we could share our efforts with your folks, especially since your mother seemed to be looking forward to some of the projects that we were planning. We were saddened when Ray stopped on Friday to tell us of your mother's passing. We know that this will be very difficult for all of you, especially for Elmer. Even in our limited contacts, we could tell she was a great lady. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Bob and Mary Jane Anthony
