Marion and I were partners in writing petitions for our church, the Prayers of the Faithful. I moved to Philadelphia and just signed up at my parish here to write petitions. I will think of Marion whenever I do it. We were very organized and task-oriented but always with a fun sense of humor. She is missed.

Marion was my mentor during our years at Buffalo General Hospital. We retired on the same day in1995. That was the day we became friends. I will miss my dear friend, our dinners, laughs, conversations.

I am very saddened at the news of Marion's death and I want to express my sympathies to her sister, nieces and nephews. I have known Marion for approximately 15 years. She and I were in a Renew group together back in 1999 or so. When that session ended, the others members of our group did not want to continue to meet so Marion and I joined another group. When that group also reached its conclusion, Marion and I joined our present group that we call Renewed Women. Our group meets the second Thursday of every month and I look very forward to those meetings as a boost to my faith and my life experience Marion was a a very valued member of our group. She had many questions about our faith, read widely to inform herself about various perspectives and then would share her amazing insights with all of us. I will miss her questions, her wisdom and her guidance. She and I also met three times per year to write the Prayers of the Faithful for Sts. Peter and Paul. I am no longer a member of that parish but Marion and I continued that ministry, meeting before our Renewed Women's group to write the petitions three times a year. Marion and I were also parish representatives to the Journey of Faith and Grace. She was an intelligent, organized, well-spoken woman. She spoke up readily but was an excellent listener as well. She and I attended a few lectures together and I will miss all these ways in which Marion was my friend and added to may faith. She will be deeply, deeply missed. My sincere sympathies, Sue

Marion was a great lady and a true advocate for the patient. I had the privilege to work with her and be her friend for many years at Buffalo General. She made a true difference in patient care for Buffalo.
