Well Mark another mile stone has passed but I wish you were here to share with me. You shared my 40th birthday and we had a wonderful time. Now today is my 50th birthday but I cant stop thinking about my 40th. We absolutely had a ball and I wish we could have done it at 50 years old. You are always in my thoughts and Im sure your ears are ringing. Your legacy will always be down here with the funny stories that we are either a part of order something you did. You were always down here making people laugh And trying to cheer them up something you were very good at. I miss you my friend God bless you always

To Mrs Cassidy & Janet, What can I say about Mark. He was truly a friend to everyone. I, Like so many others have fond memories of him. Seeing him ride a horse for the 1st time was hilarious. I still have a little ceramic dog that he made at the OFW center was he was just a kid. He engraved his name on it & gave it to me. I'll treasure it always. I had a lot of fun with him from the neighborhood bars to Allentown bars. He will be sadly missed. Please know that you are in my thoughts & prayers. My deepest sympathy, Theresa

I am so sorry for your loss! It is impossible to believe that someone who was so full of life and love is gone. I can't imagine the summer of '94 in Buffalo without Mark whether it was singing and dancing on the bar to Sweet Caroline or hanging out at Peggy's house. He was a warm and welcoming soul with a great smile and a kind heart. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace.

Remembering Mark is a privilege for the people who knew him should always cherish. As others have said, he definitely was a character. One of the funniest guys I've ever met. But he also had a caring and sincere side too. I'll miss him driving by rolling down the window and hitting you with one of his signature "drive-by" sayings. You will truly be missed by alot of people. I'll see you and C.B. on the other side brother... RIP my friend.

The Old 1st Ward lost a great person, and part of it's identity. You don't say Old 1st Ward and not think of you. Mark from our days at St. Valentine's to our days "under" the South Park bridge to our days at "ghetto beach"to the present day, It was my honor to call you my friend. Good Ole Mark Cassidy, They sure don't make them like him anymore! His infectious laughter and cheerful nature has always brought joy to everyone's lives. It's the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you'll remember. The laughs, the stories, the jokes and the smiles. I met Mark a little more than 2 years ago thru a mutual friend. He's been a wonderful friend ever since. His warm smile, hugs and friendly greetings every time I saw him has always been so heart-warming. I'm heart-broken I will never see him again. He spoke so fondly of his family and how much he loved them and showed me how much he cared for me every time I spoke to him or saw him.
