I send my thoughts and prayers to Babs, Mark´s family and friends. Many years ago, when I was just starting out in my career, Mark helped me with his guidance, patience and great sense of humor. Now that I have retired, I can look back at the people who influenced my career and Mark was someone who left an indelible legacy I will always cherish. Sincerely, Michelle Seidner

Dear Babs and family -
I was so sorry to open the paper and read about Mark's death. He put up such a valiant fight and I really thought he would beat it. I remember when I started at SK&K 24 years ago. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant and was only supposed to fill in for 2 weeks as a temp, but ended up working there for years. Mark was a huge factor in my decision to stay. He always had a smile for me when I came in and was such a pleasure to work for. Then when I worked at Murphy's, I always looked forward to the nights when you would come in for dinner. It was the highlight of my night to be able to serve you and your friends. That was the one thing I missed after leaving there and I thought about you often, wondering how Mark was doing. Please accept my deepest and sincere sympathies and take comfort in knowing that his suffering has ended and he is now at peace.

Mark represented me during my divorce, he was more than my attorney;he was a friend, even though it was a trying time our exchange of dry humor got me through it. My deepest sympathy to the Hirschorn family on his passing.

Dear Babs and family, I worked for Mark more than 25 years ago but remember the many things he taught me like it was yesterday. I have carried his professionalism, his manner, his thoroughness and his total dedication to his work with me throughout the years. Mark was remarkable not only for how much he knew, and helped so many clients over the years, but for his complete modesty and low-key personality. He shined in his own way. I know he will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this incredibly difficult time. Sincerely, Michelle Seidner (from Philadelphia)

To Mark's family: Mark was one of the first people to interview me for SKK back in 1986. I worked part-time for the firm and Mark was also my attorney for a while. He was an honest, hardworking, and very special man, and he will be missed not only by his family and friends but by his acquaintances as well. We have all lost a very special person.

Babs, Valerie and Daniel:
My sincere sympathy to all of you. Mark fought a valiant fight but the disease was too much for even him.
I will always cherish my memories of Mark from the day that we found each other (in Buffalo) with our NYC roots. He was an incredible person.
I am currently in New York City at work or would be there at the funeral.

Mrs. Hirschorn & Family,
My sincere condolances to you and your family. Mark was certainly a special man with a great sense of humor. Our paths crossed for a reason I believe. I'm not sure if I was suppose to be helping him or he me. I enjoyed caring for him in the Chemo/Infusion Clinic at Roswell where I first met him. Not long after our meeting, I retained his services as my attorney. Another nurse told me if I was persuing a divorce, I had to get Mark. He was only able to appear once with me in court but I found out why he's the best. I know he was extremely proud of his family. Babs, you did a wonderfully supportive job with Mark at Roswell. It was inspiring to witness your support for him and he for you. Wishing you the best in this difficult time.
