Mark Rine Obituary

Rine, Mark Bradigan "Brad"

April 1, 1956 - September 13, 2024

Age 68 of Spindale, NC passed away after suffering complications from a stroke. Brad was born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on April 1, 1956. Brad was the son of the late Ronald and Joan Bradigan Rine. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Deborah Cox Rine along with his children Jessica Rine, Joshua Rine, Jacob (Lauren) Rine, grandson Dillan Rine and former wife Kathleen all of Buffalo NY. Also, his stepmother Karen Rine of Jamestown NY, his stepsister Amy (James) Yeager Danville, KY and stepbrother David Vail, Atascadero, California. In addition to his parents Brad was preceded in death by his sister Amy Elizabeth Rine and his Aunt Betty Rine. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1974, earned a bachelor's degree in business from the Citadel in Charleston, SC in 1978, and furthered his education at St. Bonaventure. After college he resided in Jamestown, NY and worked at Weber Knapp and Cummins Engine. He moved to Rocky Mt SC in later years and continued working at Cummins until hired by Boeing Aircraft as Quality Control Specialist in N. Charleston, SC. Brad was a musician, he loved comedy and history. He played clarinet in the JHS band and Jamestown Municipal Band and sang in the men's choir with a voice always described as having "perfect pitch" He loved sailing, fishing, and water sports on Chautauqua Lake. He was an Eagle Scout. He was an avid Bills fan who texted and called his family during every game from North Carolina, GO BILLS! Brad had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to joke around and laugh with his friends and family, we are quite sure he would find it humorous that he was born on April Fool's Day and died Friday the 13th. You are loved and missed by all. Private services to be held at a later date.
