Age 95, of Tonawanda, entered into rest on February 20, 2025. Devoted wife of the late William M. Fleming; beloved mother of David Fleming, James Fleming, Thomas (Vickie) Fleming and Mary (Richard) Litwinski; cherished grandmother of Lauren (Robert) Piaskowski, Katherine Litwinski, Daniel Litwinski, Casey Fleming and Courtney (Ken) Wood; adored great-grandmother of several great-grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (nee Rettig) Heimerl; dear sister of Teresa Decot, the late Joanne (late James) McConnell and the late Margaret (late Craig) Ellsworth; also also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mary was very involved in many service activities at the St. Edmund/St. Christopher Church. She also enjoyed bowling and golfing. An avid Bills fan, she attended many games over the years. Mary loved many dogs during her life. Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr. on Thursday, February 27 from 3-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, 73 Adams St., Tonawanda on Friday, February 28 at 9:30am (please assemble at church). Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to the RCCT Outreach Pillar or to the SPCA Serving Erie County. Condolences may be made at www.lombardofuneralhome.com.

I did Marys hair for at least a year and a half. She will truly be missed as she was a pleasure to always see. She is also loved by my children who would be with me at the salon Thursday mornings my little boy would always light up when he saw Mary coming and always held the door for her. My condolences to her children and family.

I have known Mary for many years starting when we bowled on Friday mornings. Since then I have been friends. She was a kind, cheerful lady with much to give of her time and talents. My prayers are with her family as she was so proud of them.

Mary was Our Ultimate Cheerleader for all of the crews I rowed in with Bill at The West Side Rowing Club during the 1950's! Mary was also "The Support" behind Bill's Years of Dedication to West Side!! She Will Be Truly Missed!!
