Beloved wife of 64 years to the late Terrence; dear mother of Michael (Kelly), Dennis, Jenny (Daniel) Mlodozeniec, Mary Grace (Mark) Ramsdell, Terianne (Daniel) Speyer, James (Tina) and Susie (Tom) Varner; loving grandmother of 22 and great-grandmother of 11; sister of Peter (Wendy), Mary Sullivan and the late Msgr. Rev. W Jerome, and Timothy (Annerose) Sullivan; sister-in-law of Teresa (Bob) Gerlach, Marty (Pam), and the late Arlene Balch, Daniel (late Joan), and Edward (late Sandra); also survived by many nieces and nephews, and cousins; Visitation Tuesday 3-7 PM at the PACER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2275 George Urban Blvd., Depew (two blocks east of Dick Rd). Mass of Christian Burial at St. Martha Parish, 10 French Rd., Depew, Wednesday at 10 AM. Please assemble at church. Janie graduated from the former Buffalo State Teacher's College. She and her husband were founding members of OLBS Church (now St. Martha Parish) where she taught kindergarten to multiple generations of parish families, and was known for her patience, kindness and compassion. Janie also served in the Music Ministry as the parish organist and adult and children's choir director for decades. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Martha Food Pantry or Buffalo Hospice, Inc. are appreciated. Please share online condolences at www.PACERFUNERALHOME.com.
