Age 76, beloved husband of Linda (nee Thomas) Kawczynski; devoted father of Eric (Janet) Kawczynski, Lynn Flett-Kawczynski and the late Beth Kawczynski-Walenka; loving grandfather of Annabelle, Alex, Corrina and Kennedy; dear brother of Carol (William) Urtz; also survived by nieces and nephews. Matthew served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, was a 50 year active member of the Cleveland Hill Fire Department #6, was past Chief, Fire Commissioner and retired as fire inspector for the Town of Cheektowaga. A Celebration of Matthew's Life will be held at Twin District Fire Company, 4999 William Street, Lancaster, NY 14086 on Saturday, June 8th from 12-4 PM.
