Matthew KUSHNER Obituary
Of Orchard Park, entered into rest on June 10, 2020, loving son of Karen D. (nee Kaegi) and the late Kenneth B. Kushner; cherished brother of Daniel J. (Megan Terry), Mairé E. (Weiyang Li), and Susannah R. Kushner; beloved uncle of Dylan Kenneth Kushner and an anticipated niece; also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Private visitation and services. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery. A celebration of Matthew's life will be held at a later date. Matthew was the radio DJ host of Polka Jamboree as well as a producer and board operator at a local radio station. He was a feature writer and columnist for Polka Time at the Am-Pol Eagle, the secretary for the Polka Variety Social Club, and a member of Buffalo Polka Boosters. In 2018, Matthew was awarded the Polish Leadership Award and threw out the first pitch of a Bisons' game.
