Melva Salzler Obituary

Age 85, a longtime resident of Elmwood, TN. Mrs. Salzler was born in East Eden, NY, a daughter of the late August Eichler and Mary Ann Hoelscher Eichler. She was also preceded in death by husband, Germain Salzler; brother, August Eichler, Jr; and sister; Joyce Eichler. Mrs. Salzler graduated from the Immaculata Academy in Hamburg, NY. She worked for the WNYDDSO as a Developmental aide until she retired. Mrs. Salzler is survived by children, Laura Salzler, Rachael "Shelly" (James) Plonka, Cynthia "Cindy" Leason, and Joseph (Dena) Salzler; grandchildren, Kristin Leason, Heather (Damon Heary) Salzler, Devon Salzler, and Jessica Salzler. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in East Eden, NY.
