My family was referred to Dr. Torre by the family of the late Harry Chernoff MD. Dr Torre was held in high regard by my family since that time while he practiced. May he rest in peace.

Nelson Torre and Family have been friends since the late 1950s I was on the medical staff in the department of rheumatology when he was in training. For a short while when he ended training we practiced and work together in my office in Kenmore He later was in his own office and worked primarily at sisters hospital
We did many things together socially, and medically plus we played many rounds of golf together, almost daily for a number of years and shared many activities. He was a close friend and associate in Medicine and Rheumatology.
Nelson was a dear friend, associate, and a special part of my family. Our activities separated in years, but we kept in touch in a variety of ways. He will be greatly missed by myself and many many friends and patience I offer sincere condolences to his extended family and all his children

I was fortunate, as a new member of Park Country Club in the early '80s, to play several rounds of golf with Dr. Nelson Torre and Dr. Ralph Argen. I always enjoyed their company, but especially appreciated their kindness in welcoming and mentoring a newer, younger member.
