Dear Dr. Joyce, - Please accept my condolences on the passing of Mrs. Joyce. As I attend Mass tomorrow, she will be remembered in my prayers. Dan, Jack, Jean, Pat, Lynn, Jason, Terry, Kathleen - Though it’s been 30+ years and recollections fade, I do remember your mom’s kindness. Having six kids of my own makes me fully aware that her Purgatory was accomplished on Earth. I hope that your mourning is quickly replaced with the sense of pride that her decency assured her a place in Heaven. With certainty, my mother (I was orphaned in March) was on the welcoming committee as your mother approached the Pearly Gates.

Please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of your mother. Although I have not seen her in many years I remember very clearly how devoted she was to her children. She was so proud of each one of you. The last time I spoke to her was at a Women's Club luncheon almost fifteen years ago. She showed me pictures and told me stories about all of you----especially Jean, Lynne and Patrick. I remember thinking that every child deserves to be championed like that. My heart took a picture.

Descendants of Anna Malachowski and Josef Krajnik have been working on the family tree and would love to share information with any members of your family who might be interested. My great grandfather was Franciszak, Anna's brother who married Joanna Krajnik. I actually visited the small towns in Poland south of Gdansk where the families lived before emigrating. I wish I had had the opportunity to meet Noel....what lovely tributes have been sent in her memory!
