To Norb's family, I served at the funeral Mass this morning and I was deeply moved to see so many people that Norb touched in his life come to say goodbye. I will always remember him and Rita sitting in the middle pew on the Foissett side before 10:30 Mass at Infant of Prague. I know he will rest in God's loving arms and pray that one day we will all be reunited with him in Heaven.

You will be missed, the last of a generation which included his brother my father. I can remember as a kid you and Aunt Joan would come over in the morning of Christmas and bring gifts for myself my brothers and sister because you knew how tough it would be for us. Without you I would have never been able to say goodbye to grandma because I couldn't even look at the casket. You chased me down and talk to me as a father would do for his son and you have no idea how I will never ever forget that. My eyes are leaking not for sadness but for joy that you are now where you deserve to be. I love you Uncle Norm. This is not goodbye. This is I will see you again when God's ready for me. You can now be at peace as you enter through the front door of God's heavens. You'll always be one of my favorite uncles in my entire life. I love you and will miss you. May you rest in peace.

I really had a great love and respect for my Great Uncle Norb. His Sister, my Grandmother Marie, told me of many fond memories of their childhood. He has always shown his love to me and my family and I always loved being around him. May his love of friends and family continue on.

So sorry for your loss, Sue spoke of Norb often. His love and caring for her Mom Rita. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.
