July 10, 2021 age 85 of Clarence, NY. Beloved husband of Jeanne (nee Mills) Lawrence-Durawa and the late Alice M. (nee Harzewski) Durawa; dearest father of Sharon (Peter) Jankowski, Gary (Colleen), Linda (late Daniel) Newhouse and Kevin (Karen); grandfather of Laura (Bryan) Pietrangeli, Christina, Matthew, Jennifer, Rebecca, Mari, Michael, Jack and Katie; great-grandfather of Connor and Reagan; stepfather of Thomas (Susan) Lawrence, Susan Lawrence-Dietrich, Patricia (late Steven) Fitzpatrick, Michael Lawrence and Jon (Melanie) Lawrence; step grandfather of Kara, Katie, Victoria, Jason, Prema, Krishna, Martin, Lela, Hannah, Luke, Danielle and Erica; step great-grandfather of Grelynn, Sawyer, Finn, Simone, Marley, Aadhira and Itzel; son of the late Frank and Stephania (nee Surdej) Durawa; brother of the late Alice (late Chester) Gornikiewicz; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Tuesday, July 13th, 4-8 PM, at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd., Depew). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, at St. Benedict Church (Main St. and Eggert Rd.), at 9 AM (Please assemble at Church). Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Mr. Durawa was a member of St. Benedict's Usher and Holy Name Society and a member of Knights of Columbus. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Roswell Park Alliance.
