July 25, 2020, of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved wife of the late Gerald M. Wilke; dearest mother of Gerald M. Wilke Jr., (Carol) Mary Louise Wilke, and Martin A. Wilke; loving grandmother of Gerald III (Courtney), Martin Jr. (Maria), Christian, Alexander, and Nicholas; great-grandmother of Walter, Caden, and Penelope; sister of Louis (Anne), Richard (Paula), and the late Martin Oliveri; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 29th, from 4-8 PM at the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME, 2510 Union Rd., Cheektowaga (2 blocks south of William St.). God how I miss you Pat. How many times do I say to myself, I have to call Pat today but then I remember I don't have you here anymore. I loved you then my friend and I love you now.

Saturday I lost my oldest and DEAREST friend, Pat. We have known and loved each other since 8th. grade at St. Margaret's and then onto Bishop McMahon. Going to our first Father and Daughter dance at McMahon with our Dads. Walking to the Avenue Soda Shop on Delaware Ave. with our transistor radios. Getting married, having our first born only a few months apart, our grandchildren came along, taking at least once a week. I could go on and on about my dear friend. What I can tell everyone is I'm broken hearted, I'm going to miss my friend for the rest of my life. I love you my Pat.

Marty and family, I am deeply saddened to hear about the loss of such a wonderful person. When I was younger, she was like a second mother to me. She made time to talk and welcomed me with open arms into her home. I remember taking her to Bingo when I was old enough to drive to Canada and she was so happy (even if she lost), I remember sitting at the dinning room table and waiting for the wonderful sauce on Sundays and sitting with the family and just talking. In a few words...Mrs Wilke (Patty) was love, family, and caring. She was truly a wonderful person and my heart aches that she is in heaven looking down at her family and friends that she cared so much for.
