Age 74. Beloved husband of 45 years to Linda K. (nee Risberg) Shanahan; devoted father of Kelly (Richard) Meister and Patrick W. (Michelle) Shanahan; dearest step-father of James Noonan and Laurie Noonan; cherished grandfather of Chelsea (Christina) Arthur, Brianna (Frank) Nellist, Eva Noonan, Max Noonan, Seamus Noonan, and Maura Noonan; adored great-grandfather of Madison, Paxton and Hudson; dear brother of the late Sarah (late George) Ogden, and Rose Marie Manning; also survived by nieces and nephews. Patrick was a retired Union Leader/MEO at the Erie County Highway Department. The family will be present Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 11 am to 2 pm, at the GRECO FUNERAL HOME, 2909 Elmwood Ave., Kenmore, near Sheridan Dr., where a funeral service will follow at 2 pm.
