Paul Balon Obituary

December 17, 2003 of Cheektowaga, NY; beloved husband of Deborah (nee Rutkowski); dearest father of Michael (Amy) and Stephen; step-father of Heather and Jonathan Rutkowski; son of the late Emily and Edward Balon; survived by cousins. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday morning at 11:15 AM at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 950 Losson Rd., Cheektowaga. Paul was a retired teacher from West Seneca East Elementary and Local Musician for 45 years. Arrangements by DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME

What can I say about someone who brought total joy to my best friend. He was truly a godsend. My heart breaks for Debbie, but I have to keep thinking of all the happiness & laughter he brought to her life and to everyone around him. Paul will be sadly missed by the many, many people who loved him.
