Loving husband of Arlene; devoted father of Kelly (Justin) VanEvery, Shelly (Steven) Moran, Paul (Nikki) McBratney, and Caitlin McBratney; dear grandfather of nine grandchildren and G. papa of three great-grandchildren; pre-deceased by two brothers and one sister; also survived by three sisters, nieces and nephews. Visitation at the BUSZKA FUNERAL HOME INC. 2085 Union Rd., West Seneca, Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at which time a service will be held at 8pm. Online [email protected]

There was a period when I was very close to the McBratney family....as kids, Bob & I were buddies, but I knew Marlene, Debbie, Diane, Margie, Rickey, & Paul very well. I just today, came across of Paul's passing...just a real nice kid, & had heard after leaving the "Old neighborhood" in 1977, that Paul & Arlene got married...she, one of the sweetest girls on 44 playground...my 1st thought...Great Match!!! 2 GOOD PEOPLE.! One of the few of "Matchups" from the playground, that truly, Made It.! My condolences to Arlene & the entire McBratney family. Good people make good families; the McBratneys set the standard for that.!
