December 4, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Clara (nee Kolek) Gondek. Loving father of Michael (Debbie) Gondek, Kathleen (Ishman Molnar) and Cheryl (Mike Hacikyan). Cherished grandpa of Jonathon (Ashley) Gondek, Dr. Matthew (Rachel) Gondek, Lauren Gondek, Mika (Grant) Schafer and Shaant (Natalie) Hacikyan. Great-grandfather of Zander and Ashton. Dear brother of the late William (Stella) Gondek, Dorothy (Ray) Malczewski, Eddie Gondek and Mary Gondek as well as dear brother-in-law to Stanley Kolek, Stella Benczkowski, Flossie Kedron, Helen Krause and Irene VandeWater. Survived by many nieces, nephews, dear friends from the VFW & Don and Pat Vanderlaan. The family will receive friends at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda, 14120, 716-692-0271, on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church (Corner of Oliver St. and Center Ave.) Friday at 9:30 AM. Please Assemble at Church. Peter served our great country as a member of the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. Peter retired from Gohr Distributors after 40 years to work for his Butter Lamb sister lady "Dorothy" at the Broadway Market for another 15. He volunteered for many years in the community, for St Luke's Parish and OLC. Gratitude to the caregivers that allowed Dad to live his best life. Peter always played the New York Lottery, but never won "the million dollars."
