Of Orchard Park, NY, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025. Beloved wife of 57 years to Arthur M. Cooper. Devoted mother of Benjamin J. (Kelli) Cooper and Jeanine C. (Robert) Busse. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Luke, and Meghan Cooper; Katelyn, Makinsey, and Alex Busse. Adoring great grandmother to Camelia and Veronica. Daughter of the late James Carl and Twila (Crossman) Neal. Sister of the late Virginia Sorce and the late Irene Bugher. Phyllis earned her Bachelor's degree from Houghton College and a Master's degree from Syracuse University. She worked in many capacities for the United Methodist Church and was a Director of Christian Education and an author. She devoted her life to the religious education of children and is remembered for her kindness and acceptance of all. The family will be present Friday, October 17th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the F.E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 E. Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, donations in Phyllis' memory may be made to the Orchard Park United Methodist Church, 3700 North Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, NY. Share condolences online at www.febrownsons.com
